Redmi K30 Ultra: Xiaomi’s bang on the bucks device.

Xiaomi has introduced a new device under the flagship of Redmi K30 series alongside Redmi K30, Redmi K30 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition phones, Redmi K30 Ultra. Redmi K30 was announced on 11th August 2020.

Redmi K30 Ultra is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, unlike its three sibling devices that are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Redmi K30 Ultra will be running on the latest Android version 10 with MIUI 12.

Redmi K30 comes with a 6.7 inches Full HD (1080×2400 pixels) 120Hz AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Redmi K30 Ultra comes is a dual sim nano-sim dual stand by smartphone and also supports 5G network which is very beneficial for future upcoming 5G technology.

If we look at the design, the look and feel of the device is pretty decent. Redmi K30 Ultra comes with an aluminum frame and has a dimension of 6.43 x 2.97 x 0.36 inches and weighs 213g. This device has a pop-up selfie camera on the top which slides up when you switch to the selfie camera. This does not interrupt your display, unlike other devices. Now that is a top-notch design!

Redmi K30 Ultra comes with a quad-camera setup with 64MP PDAF primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide (119 degrees) camera, 5MP camera for macro photography, and 2MP depth camera.

Redmi K30 Ultra’s camera is packed with many features such as dual-LED dual-toned flash, HDR, panorama. You can also record 4k videos at 30fps and 1080 videos at multiple available fps such as 30fps, 60fps, etc.

Redmi K30 Ultra comes built with a motorized pop-up 20MP selfie camera. Which packs the feature of HDR and also, you can record amazing selfie full HD (1080@ 30fps) videos. Now that is a power-packed camera setup right there isn’t it?

Battery:

Redmi K30 Ultra is backed by 4500mAh non-removable battery along with 33W fast charging which charges the battery from 0-100% in 58 minutes (as advertised).

Performance:

Redmi K30 Ultra is supported by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ that gives amazing performance while running multiple applications together.

Conclusion:

Redmi K30 Ultra will be having two variants 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM with multiple ROM options along with three color variants Moonlight White, Moonlight Black, and Mint Green. This device could prove to be an amazing competitor to other devices due to its amazing features. Currently, it is not launched but is expected to be launched on 14th August 2020.
