POCO has finally confirmed its flagship device’s launch date in India. POCO X3 is set to be launched in India on 22nd September 2020 at 12 PM. We also can see the advertisement on the E-commerce website; Flipkart along with the launch date.

As mentioned in our previous post on POCO X3’s launch, they came up with an engaging punchline “EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED”. Looking at the features, it does seem like the device truly satisfies what their punchline offers.
Let us get into the detailed specifications of this device.
Design and Display:
POCO X3 comes with a dimension of 165.3 mm height x 76.8 mm wide x 9.4 mm thickness. It weighs 215 grams. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Also, has volume control buttons and a power button on either side of the device, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB type C port. It comes with a 3-D curved back. The device sports Dual-Stereo Speakers one at the top and one at the bottom. It is an IP53 rated splash-proof water and dust resistant device.
This device comes with 6.67 inches (16.94 cm) immersive FHD+ Dot Display with 120Hz refresh rate protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 3D curved back, and 244Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution with 395 PPI pixel density. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Camera and Battery:
When it comes to the camera, this device does not disappoint its customers! It comes with a Quad-camera setup along with a Sony IMX682 sensor. The camera sports a 64 MP AI primary camera, 13 MP wide-angle camera, 2 MP Macro camera, and 2 MP depth camera.
The rear camera records 4K videos @30fps and 1080 FHD videos @30fps and 720p HD videos @30fps whereas it can record slow-mo videos with the great video quality.
Coming to the battery, POCO X3 runs on a 5160 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. Also, it embodies a type-C USB connector for charging. Unlike its sibling device, it supports 33W Fast Charging. This device charges from 0-100% in around 65 minutes.

POCO X3 supports hybrid dual SIM (4G-4G) voLTE dual stand-by connection and 802.11, ac/b/g/n/n dual-band WIFI connection along with WIFI direct feature. This device has a shared microSD card slot with a SIM slot. It supports Bluetooth v5.1. This device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Octa-core gaming processor with Android v10 combined with MIUI 12 and POCO launcher 2.0.
This device comes packed with many engrossing features such as LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus that gives 3D heat dissipation to play games at full speed and keeps the device cool. It also consists of Power conserving DynamicSwitch. This smartly switches the refresh rate of the screen and optimizes the power conservation depending on the work that you are doing, for example, if you are scrolling, the refresh rate switches to 120Hz. When the screen is not in motion, it maintains a 50Hz refresh rate and automatically lowers the frequency to reduce power consumption. If you are gaming, it switches to a 60-120Hz refresh rate to give a smooth gaming experience. This in turn optimizes the power consumption in the device and saves power.
The device also comes with Game Turbo 3.0. They call it “Your Best Gaming Companion“. This feature helps you to optimize your performance mode, network, sound quality, and also an amazing feature within it called Voice Changer. You could really have fun with Voice-changer while playing games and fool your opponents. This device comes with an IR blaster. So, you can easily configure, connect your device to your home appliances and control them via your phone.

POCO X3 will be coming in two variants:
- 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage.
- 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage.
Also, it will be coming in two amazing color variants, Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray.
Conclusion:
POCO’s POCO X3 could be a top-notch device by POCO. It is packed with so many amazing features. It will be interesting to see the pricing of this device in India. However, looking at its price as launched globally, we can say that its 6GB/64GB variant could be priced around ₹17499 and 6GB/128GB could be priced around ₹21999. If these prices are true, we can say that POCO has introduced an amazing device for this price range and this device really has the potential to shake the market head-to-toe.
It will be really very interesting to look at how the pricing will go and what significance does it bring to the mid-range priced smartphone market.
